STEVENSTON enjoyed some fantastic panto fun as the Livingstone Players brought Sleeping Beauty to the town - for a sold out show.

The long running amateur drama group is staging six performances this week - including a Saturday matinee - at the Stevenston Parish Church Hall.

In a Facebook post, the Players wrote: "Opening night is here! We’re all excited and can’t wait to welcome our audiences throughout this week to see Sleeping Beauty 2024!

"If you’re coming along this week and are planning to purchase something at our pantomime shop, please note that we will only be able to accept payments in cash."

The junior performersThe junior performers (Image: Charlie Gilmour) The team will hit the stage at 7pm each night, with a matinee at 1.30pm on Saturday, December 7, before concluding a hectic week with Saturday evening's performance.

The Livingstone Players have been entertaining the town for nearly 60 years.

The crewThe crew (Image: Charlie Gilmour) This year's cast includes Lucy Skene as Princess Aurora, Kirsty Davidson as Prince Pennyburn of Kilwinning, Kimberley O'Neill as Nurse Nelly, Rachel McGivern as Muddles, Nike Johnston as Carabosse, Siobhan Gregory as Havoc, Luike Gregory as Mayhem, Evan Yuille as Bob, Stephanie Grayston as the Fairy Queen, Lauren McLaughlin as Fairy Lights, Rebecca Baird as Fairy Cakes, Niaomi Hamilton as King, Amy Paterson as Queen and Emily Harris as vicar/courtier.

And don't forget the very talented junior cast members, who have rehearsed for months to perfect their singing and dancing.
