With warmer weather beginning to come through, many of us are spending more time in the great outdoors, allowing us to catch glimpses of some of Scotland's most spectacular wildlife.

Sea Clyde (boat trips)
A Sea Clyde boat trip allows for an up-close view of some of the region's most extraordinary marine wildlife.

Largs Sea Front
This promenade, which stretches along the popular seaside town, allows visitors to take in the scenery while enjoying chips or ice cream from one of the many nearby chippies and parlours.
One reviewer was taken aback by how beautiful the beach was, adding: "Sometimes you can see whales."
Seamill
Seamill, located near West Kilbride, has spectacular views of the sea and is known to be an excellent whale and dolphin viewing spot.
Visitors can stay at a number of local hotels such as The Waterside just down the road which is also famous for its great window views.

Irvine Beach
For a large and clean beach, look no further than this one which has been praised bu visitors online.
One reviewer on Tripadvisor said: "It is a great place to spot wildlife as there are seals in the harbour, lots of various birds, swans, sometimes dolphins and the occasional whale."
Irvine Beach is also an ideal walking spot with a number of restaurants and hotels nearby in the town of Irvine.
