SAILINGS from Ardrossan to Brodick remain cancelled for at least part of Monday due to a technical issue aboard MV Hebridean Isles.
Further investigations are being carried out today, but the ferry company have confirmed the following sailings have been cancelled: Depart Ardrossan – 7am, 9,45am, 12.30pm and 3.20pm. Depart Brodick – 8..20am, 11.05am, and 1.55pm.
The 14.40pm sailing from Brodick and the 6pm sailing from Ardrossan are liable to cancellation at short notice.
A bus service has been organized for foot passengers to leave Ardrossan at 7.30am for the 8.35am MV Alfred sailing departing Troon.
An update regarding later sailings will be provided at approximately 3pm.
A CalMac spokesperson said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and have published information on passenger rights on our website."
Meanwhile, repairs to MV Caledonian Isles’ port gearbox are underway and the vessel is now expected to return to service mid-November.
MV Hebridean Isles will remain redeployed to the Ardrossan-Brodick service until Sunday, October 20.
