IN short this was something of a scrappy game with not much between the teams, apart from the vital two goals. But then, goals change games and goals win games.
The two goals came either side of half-time.
Both were mostly down to mistakes by Saltcoats which were taken advantage of by the Forth players.
The first goal was a scrappy affair with Saltcoats having had three clear chances to clear the ball before it crossed the line. In the end it was an own goal.
The second goal was similar in that Saltcoats had opportunities to clear the ball but this time Forth slotted the ball over the line. Saltcoats did have decent scoring opportunities during the game but failed to find the net.
