North Ayrshire Athletics Club (NAAC) saw several of their members recently competing at the Combined Event Championships.
Eight members from the NAAC competed in the two day event at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.
The U17/20 men competed both days in the heptathlon with the girls competing in the pentathlon on the second day.
All the members competed well over the event with many earning personal bests in their field.
Two members picked up medals, with Ben and Phoebe both winning bronze in the heptathlon and pentathlon respectively.
Club president Kirsteen Brown was delighted with the podium places and the club’s performance as a whole at the event.
She said: “NAAC are still a relatively young club and small in size compared to other clubs in Scotland, so for two of our athletes to get podium places was a massive achievement.
"The club are very proud of you all and thanks as always go to our volunteer multi-event coaches Christophe, Paul and Henry.”
