AFTER winning the West of Scotland Football League (WoSFL) Premier Division last season, Beith Juniors have been making moves to ensure they retain their title.
Though fans will be concerned about the potential loss of Josh Fowler - who has recently trialled with Scottish Premiership side Motherwell and is understood to be having further trials with Kilmarnock FC - another striker has come through the door at Bellsdale Park.
It comes as Chris Strain's fourth signing of the summer was announced earlier this week.
Striker Ciaran Diver has joined the ranks of the North Ayrshire club, singing up after an impressive season with WoSFL Second Division side Renfrew FC on a contract until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Diver scored 31 goals last season as his former side won the Second Division title and the Strathclyde Demolition Cup - earning them a place in this season's senior Scottish Cup.
The 23-year-old brings an impressive pedigree, having come through the youth ranks at Celtic.
While signed with the Parkhead side, he also spent time on loan at Stranraer and Edinburgh City before joining Renfrew in 2019.
Since signing, he has now joined up with the rest of The Mighty squad and made his first appearance in a 2-1 friendly victory over Ardrossan Winton Rovers last night - where he notched an assist for Beith's first goal.
The summer recruit is Beith's fourth signing, after the captures of midfielder/defender Jordan Scott from Petershill, goalkeeper Jamie Walker from Largs Thistle and striker Ryan Monan from Muirkirk Juniors.
