Top table tennis talents will be descending on North Ayrshire this weekend.
It comes as St Matthew's Academy in Saltcoats – home to the North Ayrshire Table Tennis Club (NATTC) – is set to host a pair of events.
The first will take place on Friday, January 26, with an international fixture to be played at the venue.
A friendly match is to be played between Scotland and Ulster with a number of talented youth players competing across various matches.
Players from the under 13 age group right up to under 19s will battle it out in the match, which begins at 6pm at the sports hall in the Saltcoats school.
Four NATTC stars will feature across the international fixtures, with Nathan Hogg, Jamie Johnson, Padma Unnam and Tamara Martin all selected to represent Scotland.
The players, alongside hundreds of others, will return to the same venue on Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28.
The North Ayrshire Open will kick off on Saturday morning, with players competing for various titles across the tournament.
Play will begin at 9am on Saturday, with matches taking place up until the early evening.
Matches begin at the same time the following day, though a slightly earlier finish is expected in the late afternoon.
The hall at St Matthew's will be opened from 8.25am both days for all wishing to come along and watch the talented players taking part.
