North Ayrshire Table Tennis Club won bronze as they hosted the Senior British League Premier Cup last weekend.
And they even defeated Premier League champions and top ranked side Brighton in the quarter finals.
The big tournament was held at the Inverclyde Sports Centre in Largs and saw the top eight sides in the UK compete for glory.
And TV viewers could tune in to watch the knockout matches live.
After taking out Brighton in the quarters with a 4-2 victory, North Ayrshire faced the highly rated team from Batts, in Harlow, who were last year's winners, in the semi-finals.
Sadly, they failed to make it through to the final, losing 4-2
The third place play-off was an all-Scotland fight as North Ayrshire took on Drumchapel, with the local side triumphing 4-0 to secure the bronze medal.
In the final, Batts convincingly defeated Orsmby to take the trophy.
After the match, Batts star Chris Doran said: "Full credit to North Ayrshire, they were probably the team of the weekend, taking out Brighton and giving us a real run for our money.
"They have done a fantastic job hosting it here, so full credit to North Ayrshire."
Nick Donald, chair of Table Tennis England, also praised the hosts.
He said: "On behalf of Table Tennis England I wanted to thank you and your team for hosting a wonderful event. Great camaraderie and sportsmanship. Plus a wonderful location."
In each team match, there were up to seven individual matches, six singles and one doubles.
A spokesperson for the North Ayrshire Club said: "Thanks to Table Tennis England and the British League for selecting us to host the SBL Cup and thanks to all the players, coaches, officials, umpires and spectators who helped make the event a good one."
North Ayrshire Table Tennis Club founder Billy Main simply said: “It was a happy weekend."
