THE Kilwinning Darts Premier League season drew to a close last week.
And there were plenty of winners crowned as the most recent campaign ended with a thrilling finals night.
The competition is played on a regular basis throughout the year, across three different leagues.
As well as the top Premier League, there is also a Championship and League One, with players looking to work their way up the rankings.
For finals night, the spotlight was on the top players from the Premier League, who competed in semi-finals and a grand final, with competitors determined from their regular season performances.
After battling through their semi-finals matches, the final saw an incredible first to seven legs match played between Wully 'The Crystal' Hays and Brian 'Bullseye Berzy' Wallace.
The game went right down to the wire, with Hays eventually coming through a thrilling contest to win 7-6 and be crowned as Premier League champion.
Following the showpiece match, a number of other winners were also presented their prizes for their performances and tournament wins throughout the season.
In the Championship, Graham 'The Fury' Muir finished in top position, with Lee 'The Hound' Hollis coming in second place.
League One champion was Bobby 'The Bear' Stevely with Jason 'Jake The Snake' Stewart finishing as runner-up.
For tournaments played throughout the year, Wully Hays picked up his trophy for winning the 'Masters' with Hannah 'The Banana' Bell taking second prize.
Graham Muir was crowned the winner in the 'UK Open' after his victory over Wully Hays in that competition.
The league's first ever doubles tournament was won earlier this year by Lee Hollis and Guy 'Red One' Hislop who triumphed over Brian Wallace and Craig 'Dynamite' Devlin in the final.
Following the end of season celebrations, and various promotions and relegations, players will now rest up before the Premier League returns to the Blacklands Bowling Club in July.
