The annual North Ayrshire 10k Festival of Running returned to the streets of Saltcoats at the weekend.
And the big event on Sunday, September 1 attracted hundreds of athletes from across Ayrshire and beyond.
Organised by North Ayrshire Athletics Club, the race has become a big event on the running circuit and always attracts a big turnout, from experienced runners to novices.
There were events for younger runners too.
Once again, the club would like to thank all the members who helped to set up the course.
This year, their lead cycle and rear support cycles were provided in partnership with North Ayrshire Tandem Cycling, a local charity who support those living with sight impairment to cycle with a sighted pilot.
A club spokesperson added: "Its an exciting partnership for our two local charities."
